This website is dedicated to the study of God's character as it is depicted in the Old and New Testaments. There are seeming contradictions between both Testaments when it comes to the character of God. These must be harmonized with the true picture of God as it was revealed in the life of Christ! God has His character, and we are to behold Him as He is! And by beholding Him as He is we will be transformed into His character, because it is by beholding that we become changed!
Back in 2003 I did some work for an Episcopalian pastor. We had plenty of time to talk on spiritual things. One day, he showed me his "Bible" which was the New Testament only! And he said these words: "My Bible has only the books of the New Testament because I don't believe in the God of the Old Testament!" And he was very serious! Well, there was a reason for him to believe that way. He just could not justify the ministry of Christ with the picture of God that we get from the Old Testament. There are thousands that make the same mistake! The God of the Old and the God of the New Testaments is the SAME God! And He is the God of LOVE!
